ML AESTHETIC CLINIC — TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These Terms and Conditions govern the booking and use of all services offered by ML Aesthetic Clinic, including consultations, aesthetic treatments, and holistic wellness services. By booking an appointment, attending a consultation, or receiving treatment, the client acknowledges and agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with the clinic's Privacy Policy.
1. BOOKING & DEPOSIT
All consultations and treatment appointments require a deposit at the time of booking.
- A non-refundable deposit of $75 is required to secure all consultation and treatment bookings.
- The deposit will be applied toward the total cost of the consultation or treatment on the day of the appointment.
- Appointments will not be confirmed until the deposit has been received.
2. CANCELLATION & RESCHEDULING POLICY
The clinic requires adequate notice to manage appointment availability fairly for all clients.
- A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment.
- Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in forfeiture of the deposit.
- Clients wishing to reschedule with proper notice may transfer their deposit to a new appointment date, subject to availability.
3. LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
Punctuality allows the clinic to deliver safe, quality care within scheduled appointment times.
- Clients who arrive late will have their service limited or adjusted to accommodate other scheduled appointments.
- Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will be charged a $20 late fee.
- Clients arriving 30 minutes or more late will not be able to receive their service and will forfeit their $50 deposit.
4. NO-SHOW POLICY
- Failure to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice is considered a no-show.
- No-show appointments result in the forfeiture of the deposit paid, in accordance with clinic policy. Clients with repeated no-shows may be required to pay the full treatment cost in advance for future bookings.
- Clients who cancel or no-show three consecutive times will no longer be accepted as a client of the clinic.
5. TREATMENT CONSENT FORMS
Informed consent is required prior to receiving any aesthetic or wellness treatment.
- All required treatment consent forms must be reviewed and signed at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled treatment.
- Failure to complete consent forms within this timeframe may result in postponement or rescheduling of the treatment.
- Consent forms outline treatment risks, expected outcomes, aftercare requirements, and any contraindications relevant to the client's health history.
6. TREATMENT SUITABILITY & MEDICAL DISCLOSURE
Clients are required to disclose complete and accurate medical history, allergies, medications, and any relevant health conditions prior to treatment.
The clinic reserves the right to decline, postpone, or modify any treatment where it determines, in its professional judgment, that the treatment is not suitable or safe for the client at that time.
Failure to disclose accurate medical information may affect treatment outcomes and the clinic's liability in connection with the service provided.
7. TREATMENT RESULTS & EXPECTATIONS
Aesthetic and wellness treatment outcomes vary by individual and depend on factors including skin type, health condition, lifestyle, and adherence to aftercare instructions.
The clinic does not guarantee specific results from any treatment. Before-and-after expectations discussed during consultation are illustrative only and not a guarantee of outcome.
8. AFTERCARE & CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Clients are responsible for following all aftercare instructions provided by clinic staff following treatment.
Failure to follow aftercare guidance may affect treatment results and increases the risk of complications. The clinic is not responsible for outcomes resulting from a client's failure to follow aftercare instructions.
9. PAYMENT TERMS
Payment in full is due at the time services are rendered, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking or at the clinic.
- Deposits are applied toward the total cost of services and are non-refundable except where required by law.
- Package and series treatments are non-transferable to other individuals unless otherwise agreed by the clinic.
10. REFUND POLICY
Deposits and payments for services rendered are generally non-refundable.
Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis at the clinic's sole discretion, and any approved refunds may be subject to administrative or processing fees.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ML Aesthetic Clinic shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of its services, except where such liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits the clinic's liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Québec or Canadian law.
12. CLIENT CONDUCT
Clients are expected to treat clinic staff and other clients with courtesy and respect. The clinic reserves the right to refuse service or terminate an appointment in cases of abusive, threatening, or inappropriate conduct, without refund of any deposit paid.
13. PRIVACY
The collection, use, and disclosure of personal information in connection with the clinic's services is governed by the clinic's Privacy Policy, available upon request or on the clinic's website.
14. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
These Terms and Conditions may be updated periodically to reflect changes in clinic policies or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on the clinic's website together with a revised effective date. Continued use of the clinic's services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
15. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the applicable federal laws of Canada. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Québec.
